Scott brings to Elliott Bay Asset Solutions three decades of experience conducting and managing the analysis and remediation of environmentally impacted properties. His skills with complicated properties are built from decades of working with environmental insurance, financial assurance, and claims management. He has conducted financial analysis and cost modeling as well as environmental risk assessments on hundreds of transactions throughout the United States and internationally. Some of America’s largest corporations have trusted Scott in oversight of costs and strategic cost control for complex environmental liabilities in the mining, microchip, paper, wood, and petroleum industries. He has interfaced with legal, real estate, and governmental agencies to create public policy facilitating acceptance and adoption of environmental credit use. As a nationally recognized expert in the development of Natural Resource Damage markets, he directed the first-ever ecological credits transaction between the Federal government and a large municipality in support of a settlement.
